What is a paleo diet?
On a paleo diet, the purpose is to return to a Paleolithic Era way of eating, basically what early humans (hunters and gatherers) ate. This caveman diet primarily includes eating real, nutrient-dense, whole foods.
Foods to Eat:
Meats, Fish, Eggs, Poultry, Vegetables, Fruit, Healthy fats and oils (think avocado oil, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, ghee), nuts, seeds, spices.
Foods to Avoid:
Processed foods, legumes, sugar, and artificial sweeteners, grains, vegetable oils, and (most) dairy.
